What we did

The project involved a single-story extension, both at the front and the rear of the site, and refurbishment throughout. Providing an initial challenge, the extension to the existing front of the building included a new structural steel-frame pitched roof over the existing flat roof, along with a new curved shape and tiling.

A single-ply roofing membrane was added to an existing flat roof, as well as plastering to the new steelwork in order to provide a seamless addition to the existing structure.

The interior of the building received a range of all-new refurbishment works including new bathrooms, meeting rooms, entranceway, lighting, fire protection, and new decoration throughout.

Decorations included new hardwood bespoke joinery doors, woof effect vinyl flooring, suspended ceilings, and a new painting finish.

In order to satisfy the functions required of the church, new services were also installed, including a new kitchen, central heating system, the installation of a new projector and automatic screen.
