The project consisted of comprehensive remodelling and refurbishment of the existing, unoccupied 19th Century Hall building, previously the School house. Alterations within the Parish Rooms building which was constructed early part of the 21st Century.

What we did

Works included specialist needle propping to the West Elevation to remove the existing stone windows and in their place install brickwork pillars and new bi- folding door systems to the newly formed terrace.

The Pastoral Centres layout was altered by demolishing load bearing walls, installing new steelwork lintels, partitions, and bespoke arched opening to form new Main Hall, Informal Seating Area, Central Store, Kitchen, Meeting Room, Lobby’s, Storage Areas, WC & Accessible WC.

A porch extension was created to for a new entrance, including strip foundations, brickwork & blockwork, bespoke stone cills, external door set and windows, tiled roof and oak framework.

M&E works included alterations to the existing heating system, installation of new vertical radiators, WC installations, ventilation works, new internal & external lighting and emergency lighting, power, data, and new fire alarm installation

Refurbishment consisted of new insulated flow screed floor, plastered wall finishes, acoustic suspended ceilings & skeilings, bespoke stainless-steel kitchen appliances, heritage wall panelling, fire rated door sets, decoration, and floor coverings.

Externally works included the demolition of two existing garages, fencing, and the existing landscape, ready to receive a new paved terrace, macadam, and turfed areas with a new Flemish bond garden wall.
