What we did

The works compromised off new strip foundations with drainage and soakaway ready to receive a new block and beam floor for the substructure. New brick and blockwork walls were taken up to finished height with a powder aluminium coated coping.

The roof deck was constructed by using C24 structural timbers and furring’s with a build- up of OSB plywood, insulation and single ply membrane. A bespoke roof light was incorporated into this new ceiling made out of softwood timber with a patent glazing system on top. Aluminium windows/doors were then fitted to the extension.

Internally, electrical and mechanical systems was upgraded in the existing building and installed into the new extension. This included new lighting, power, data and ventilation. Along with a new heating system.

New toilet cubicles were formed and was fitted out with all appropriate sanitary-ware. The whole of the extension and part of the existing building then received new floor finishes, suspended ceilings and decoration. Bespoke handmade hardwood doors were then installed.
