What we did

Works included the complete strip out of all existing WC facilities including the demolition of dividing walls to enable reconfiguration of the existing layouts. Both electrical and mechanical modifications were undertaken together with the re-routing of existing drainage in order to achieve this.

New vinyl floor coverings were laid followed by the installation of a high-pressure laminate wall system ready for new full height solid grade laminate cubicles. Further installations included a new suspended ceiling, ventilation system, LED lighting in communal areas and individual downlighters for each cubicle.

The new cubicle system includes a standalone vanity unit with a Corian solid surface top, trough basins and anti-vandal WC units with all pipework concealed in IPS panel ducts. One of the new cubicles was installed to reach full DDA compliancy incorporating a new handrail, accessible WC alarm and Doc M Pack. Works were undertaken during the summer holiday period so strict timescales were adhered to ready for the new School term. Using our experience and expertise in these requirements we delivered this project successfully to our high standards.
