What we did

Following an asbestos refurbishment and demolition survey which highlighted traces of asbestos in existing mastic of the windows which were due to be removed we employed a specialist licensed sub-contractor to safely remove and correctly dispose of this.

Once asbestos removal was complete the phased installation of new aluminium windows including two curtain wall systems complete with electronic openers took place. A full safety scaffold was erected to allow safe working access to high level areas for the repointing of defective brickwork including replacement and rebedding of coping stones throughout the School.

Works were undertaken during the summer holiday period so strict timescales were adhered to ready for the new School term. Using our experience and expertise in these requirements we worked intensely to deliver this project successfully to our high standards.

Building security was one of this projects top priorities so all windows received full temporary hoarding whilst replacement works were taking place.
