Our location also means we are close to all arterial routes thus meaning in the event of unforeseen problems occurring we are able to respond to this with an exceptionally quick and efficient service.
We are a close-knit, long-serving team of skilled operatives who deliver a personal touch throughout the construction process. We work for a wide range of public and private sector clients, local authorities, schools, colleges, academies, the leisure industry and various healthcare providers.
History
The company known today as Morris & Blunt Ltd, has derived from the original 1988 partnership of Andrew Goodchild (Formerly Morris) and Melvin Blunt trading as Morris & Blunt Carpentry Services.
After a decade of successful business and continued growth, Morris & Blunt Ltd was incorporated, employing a team of professional staff and tradesman with core key skills in key areas of the construction industry, many of whom have been with the company since its inception.
That ethos has continued today with Daniel Hobson and Stephen Blunt now acting as Managing Directors and partnering the founders Andrew Goodchild and Melvin Blunt to continue to build an enviable reputation as a construction company for providing quality workmanship, attention to detail and an enormous wealth of experience.

“I just wanted to say from all of us how delighted we are with the building at Culham Science Centre nursery. I know we set out with very tight deadlines and budget, but you were great to work with, very polite and very considerate of the needs of the small children right next door 5 days a week.
Your stringent safety precautions were very thorough with small children around but you also showed consideration for the staff and children day to day for example keeping noise levels and mess to a minimum, and doing disruptive work such as the unavoidable digging right across the garden which was completed outside of nursery hours very quickly and the site made good and returned to use as soon as possible i.e. within a day or so.The staff and parents of children attending the nursery did not have cause to complain once. Any build issues were dealt with professionally and promptly and I would happily recommend you. “Morris & Blunt Ltd and their team were a very efficient team to work with and whenever there were any queries they were handled in a professional and effective manner. By far the biggest plus point is the attention to detail that all of the Morris & Blunt Ltd team use in all aspects of their work, thus we have ended up with a facility that has an extremely high standard of finish.
Very minor defects, e.g. a leaking shower head, was dealt with immediately and the level of service has been excellent. We are also very grateful that Morris & Blunt Ltd have recognised what we are trying to do for our club and the community and have generously made a sponsorship donation to help run our U16 & U18 allied counties team.
The facility has already had many positive comments from visitors to our ground, including our MP Adam Afiyie, who officially opened the facility in November.
